This page gives a full sic bo payout table with exact probabilities and house edges, so you can see the real cost of each bet before you place it. For live dealer games generally, see our live casino Philippines guide.

Paano gumagana ang sic bo
Three dice are shaken in a covered container or a mechanical shaker. With three six-sided dice there are 6 × 6 × 6 = 216 equally likely outcomes. Every probability in sic bo comes from counting how many of those 216 outcomes win a given bet. Totals range from 3 to 18. A "triple" means all three dice show the same number (six possible triples out of 216).
Ang full payout table
Payouts below are common at live tables, but they vary. Always check the paytable on the table you play, because two tables from the same provider can pay differently. House edges are calculated exactly from the 216 outcomes.
| Bet | Wins on | Winning outcomes (of 216) | Typical payout | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | Total 4–10, not a triple | 105 | 1 to 1 | 2.78% |

Bakit pinakamura ang Big at Small
Big and Small each win on 105 of 216 outcomes and pay even money. Without the triple rule, they would be exact 50-50 bets (108 outcomes each). The house takes its edge by making triples lose: 3 of the 6 triples fall in each range (for example 2-2-2 has total 6, in the Small range), and all six triples lose both bets. Losing those 3 outcomes per side gives the house 2.78%. Odd and Even work the same way.
That 2.78% is close to European roulette's 2.70%, and well below every other sic bo bet on a standard paytable.
Single number bets
A bet on a single number, say "4," wins if one or more dice show 4. With three dice, a specific number appears on exactly one die in 75 outcomes, on exactly two in 15, and on all three in 1, for 91 winning outcomes out of 216. With payouts of 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1, the house edge is 7.87%. Some tables pay 12:1 when all three dice match your number, which lowers the edge to 3.70%, making it the second-cheapest bet in the game. It is worth looking for that rule.
Totals: bakit iba-iba ang bayad
Middle totals such as 10 and 11 are the most common (27 outcomes each), while extreme totals such as 4 and 17 are rare (3 outcomes each). Payouts rise accordingly, but not by enough to cover the probabilities fully. House edges on totals range from 9.72% (7 or 14 at 12:1) to 18.98% (9 or 12 at 6:1). If you bet totals for fun, 7 and 14 are the least expensive on this common paytable, and 9 and 12 the most.
Triples at doubles: malaking payout, malaking edge
A specific triple has a 1 in 216 chance. A fair payout would be 215 to 1; tables pay 180 to 1 (16.20% edge) or 150 to 1 (30.09%). Any triple has a 6 in 216 chance (1 in 36), a fair payout of 35 to 1; tables pay 30 to 1 (13.89%) or 24 to 1 (30.56%). Specific doubles at 8 to 1 cost a third of every peso wagered on average. These bets are where small differences in the paytable make enormous differences in cost.
Paano gamitin ang paytable sa totoong table
- Open the game's paytable or help screen before betting.
- Compare key payouts with the table above: any triple (30 or 24 to 1), specific triple (180 or 150 to 1), specific double (10 or 8 to 1), triple on single number (3 or 12 to 1).
- If the game lists RTP figures for each bet, use them: RTP = 100% minus house edge.
- If you want the lowest cost, stick to Big, Small, Odd or Even, or single numbers at a 12:1 triple table.
Some live sic bo variants add random multipliers on certain bets while lowering base payouts. Their house edges differ from the standard table, so rely on the game's published RTP rather than this table.
Worked examples
Example 1: Big bet
You bet ₱500 on Big. The dice show 4, 5, 6 (total 15). You win ₱500 profit. If they show 5, 5, 5 (total 15 but a triple), you lose. Over many bets, expect to lose about ₱13.90 per ₱500 bet on average.
Example 2: Total 10
You bet ₱100 on total 10 at 6 to 1. It wins on 27 of 216 outcomes (12.5%). When it wins you get ₱600 profit. Expected value per bet: 0.125 × 600 − 0.875 × 100 = 75 − 87.5 = −₱12.50, a 12.5% edge.
Example 3: Specific triple
You bet ₱20 on three 6s at 180 to 1. A win pays ₱3,600. But on average you will wait 216 rolls for it, and over those rolls you will have wagered ₱4,320. Expected loss per bet: about ₱3.24.

Simulation: 100 rounds, tatlong estilo
We simulated 50,000 sessions of 100 rounds each, betting ₱100 per round (₱10,000 wagered per session) in three ways, using fair dice:
| Bet every round | Average result | Sessions finishing ahead | Worst 10% | Best 10% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Big (1 to 1) | −₱280 | 35.4% | −₱1,600 or worse | +₱1,000 or better |
| Total 10 (6 to 1) | −₱1,247 | 26.4% | −₱4,400 or worse | +₱1,900 or better |
| Any triple (30 to 1) | −₱1,350 | 30.6% | −₱6,900 or worse | +₱5,500 or better |
"Finishing ahead" excludes sessions that ended exactly even, which are common for Big bets. The pattern is clear: Big loses slowly with modest swings; total and triple bets lose four to five times as much on average, with much wider swings. Any triple finishes ahead fairly often because a single hit pays 30 times the stake, but the losing sessions are deep.
Ang "spread" ng chips: magkano talaga
Many players place several bets each round, for example ₱100 on Big, ₱50 on total 11, ₱20 on any triple and ₱30 on a two-dice combination. The expected cost per round is the sum of each bet times its house edge: ₱100 × 2.78% + ₱50 × 12.50% + ₱20 × 13.89% + ₱30 × 16.67% = ₱2.78 + ₱6.25 + ₱2.78 + ₱5.00 = about ₱16.81 per ₱200 wagered, an average edge of about 8.4%. The ₱100 Big bet is half the money but only a sixth of the cost; the small side bets do most of the damage.
"Covering" the table: bakit hindi gumagana
Some players try to cover many outcomes at once, betting Big and Small together, or many totals, hoping to "always win something." Betting Big and Small together loses on every triple and otherwise wins one bet and loses the other: a guaranteed small loss over time. Covering many totals means most of your chips lose every round while one wins at a payout that does not cover the rest. No combination of bets has a lower house edge than its individual parts; combining bets just adds up their costs.

Bilis ng laro at gastos kada oras
Live sic bo tables often run a round every minute or so. At ₱200 per round on Big alone, 60 rounds an hour is ₱12,000 wagered and an expected cost of about ₱334 an hour. The same ₱200 spread across the mixed bets above costs about ₱1,000 an hour on average. Fewer rounds and cheaper bets reduce the cost far more than any "system."
Glossary
| Term | Ibig sabihin |

Distribution ng totals (3 hanggang 18)
| Total | Ways (of 216) | Probability |
|---|---|---|
| 3 or 18 | 1 | 0.46% |
| 4 or 17 | 3 | 1.39% |
| 5 or 16 | 6 | 2.78% |

| 9 or 12 | 25 | 11.57% |
| 10 or 11 | 27 | 12.50% |
Totals of 3 and 18 can only come from triples (1-1-1 and 6-6-6), which is why most layouts do not offer them as separate total bets; they are covered by the specific triple bets.
Paano basahin ang sic bo layout
A typical layout has Small and Big at the top corners, often with Odd and Even beside them. Below are the specific doubles and triples, with "any triple" in the centre. A row of totals from 4 to 17 runs across the middle, each box showing its payout. Below that are the fifteen two-dice combinations, and at the bottom the six single-number boxes, each showing the dice face. Live games highlight winning areas after each roll. Before betting, tap or hover over each box you plan to use; most online games show the exact payout for that area.
Live sic bo vs RNG sic bo
Live sic bo uses physical dice in a shaker, streamed from a studio. RNG (random number generator) sic bo simulates the dice in software. Both should produce outcomes with the same probabilities if the game is fair and properly tested; what usually differs is the paytable and the speed. RNG games can be played much faster, which raises the hourly cost. Some live variants add random multipliers to certain bets in some rounds and compensate with lower base payouts, which changes the house edge of each bet. For any variant, the game's published RTP is the figure to trust.
Isang simpleng session plan
Hypothetical. Ken sets a ₱2,000 budget for live sic bo and decides to play 50 rounds at most. He bets ₱40 per round, mostly on Big or Small, about 2% of his budget. At a table that pays 12 to 1 on a triple for single numbers, he occasionally switches to a ₱40 single-number bet for variety, since its 3.70% edge is close to Big and Small. He allows himself one ₱10 "fun" bet on any triple every ten rounds and no other side bets. His expected cost for the session is roughly ₱60 to ₱70, while swings of several hundred pesos either way are normal. He stops at 50 rounds or when his budget is gone, whichever comes first, and does not reload.
Paano malalaman kung fair ang dice game
Play only at licensed operators whose game providers are tested by independent labs. Live games should show the shaker and dice clearly on every round, with results displayed immediately. RNG games should come from known providers with published RTPs. Avoid sic bo games offered through chat groups, agents or unlicensed apps, where results and payouts cannot be verified.
Mga common na pagkakamali
- Spreading chips across many boxes, mixing cheap and very expensive bets.
- Assuming a bigger payout means better value.
- Not checking whether the table pays 30 or 24 to 1 on any triple, or 10 or 8 to 1 on doubles.
- Believing dice are "due" for a triple or a certain total after a run.
- Playing very fast live tables without a time limit.
- Raising stakes after a loss to win it back on a high-payout box.
Patterns at "hot numbers"
Sic bo tables often show the last results and "hot" or "cold" numbers. Fair dice have no memory: each roll is independent, and every one of the 216 outcomes stays equally likely. Displays of recent results are for entertainment. A "cold" number that has not appeared for twenty rolls still has exactly the same 91-in-216 chance of appearing on the next roll as any other number.
Sic bo sa Pilipinas
Sic bo, sometimes called "dai siu" (big small), is offered at land-based casinos and on live dealer platforms. PAGCOR-licensed operators and offshore casinos such as Cloudbet, our affiliate partner, offer live dice games; Cloudbet is licensed in Curaçao, not by PAGCOR. Paytables vary by provider and game version, so always check the rules screen. You must be at least 21 to gamble in the Philippines.
Responsible na paalala
Sic bo rounds are quick, and the layout invites many simultaneous bets. Set a budget per session, limit the number of bets per round, and stop when you reach your limit. If gambling stops being fun, our responsible gambling page lists free Philippine helplines.
Bottom line
With 216 equally likely outcomes, every sic bo bet has a calculable price. Big, Small, Odd and Even cost 2.78%; single numbers cost 7.87%, or 3.70% if a triple pays 12 to 1. Totals, doubles and triples range from about 10% to over 30%, depending on the paytable. Check the paytable before you bet, favour the low-edge bets, and treat the big-payout boxes as expensive entertainment.
