Ano ang wagering requirement?
A wagering requirement is the total amount you must bet before bonus money, or winnings from it, can be withdrawn. If you receive a ₱1,000 bonus with a 30x requirement on the bonus, you need to place ₱30,000 in total bets first. It's not ₱30,000 you must lose; it's ₱30,000 of turnover. Your balance goes up and down as you play, and every bet counts towards the total until you reach it or run out of funds.
Casinos use wagering requirements because a bonus without them would be free money: deposit, claim, withdraw. The requirement makes you play enough that the house edge recovers part or all of the bonus.
Dalawang paraan ng pagkwenta
1. Bonus lang
Turnover = bonus × multiplier. ₱1,000 bonus at 30x = ₱30,000.
2. Deposit + bonus
Turnover = (deposit + bonus) × multiplier. ₱1,000 deposit + ₱1,000 bonus at 30x = ₱60,000.
The second is twice as demanding for the same headline number. Always check which base the terms use, because the promotion banner rarely says. "30x D+B" or "30x deposit and bonus" means the second method.
Ang pinakamahalagang formula: expected cost
On average, every peso you bet loses the house edge. So:
Expected cost of clearing = turnover × house edge
The house edge is 100 percent minus the game's return to player (RTP). A slot with 96 percent RTP has a 4 percent edge.
Expected value of the bonus ≈ bonus − expected cost
If that number is positive, the bonus is worth more than nothing on average. If negative, you'd expect to lose more clearing it than it's worth. This ignores variance and caps, which we cover below, but it's the single best quick check.
Table: expected cost ng ₱1,000 bonus
| Wagering (bonus only) | 96% RTP | 97% RTP | 98% RTP | 99% RTP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10x | ₱400 | ₱300 | ₱200 | ₱100 |
| 20x | ₱800 | ₱600 | ₱400 | ₱200 |
| 30x | ₱1,200 | ₱900 | ₱600 | ₱300 |
| 40x | ₱1,600 | ₱1,200 | ₱800 | ₱400 |
| 50x | ₱2,000 | ₱1,500 | ₱1,000 | ₱500 |
Read it like this: a ₱1,000 bonus at 30x on 96 percent slots is expected to cost ₱1,200 to clear, so its expected value is about −₱200. The same bonus at 20x on 97 percent slots is expected to cost ₱600, leaving about +₱400. Small changes in the multiplier or RTP flip a bonus from good to bad.
If the requirement is on deposit plus bonus, double the costs in the table for a matched 100 percent bonus. A 30x D+B requirement on ₱1,000 + ₱1,000 at 96 percent RTP costs about ₱2,400 in expectation, far more than the ₱1,000 bonus.
Game contribution: hindi pantay ang lahat ng laro
Most casinos count bets on different games at different rates towards wagering:
- Slots: usually 100 percent.
- Table games like blackjack, baccarat and roulette: often 10 to 20 percent, or excluded entirely.
- Live casino: often low or excluded.
- Some high-RTP slots: sometimes excluded or reduced.
Contribution changes the turnover you actually need. If baccarat counts at 10 percent, ₱30,000 of required wagering means ₱300,000 of baccarat bets. Even with baccarat's low edge on the banker bet, about 1.06 percent, that's an expected cost of around ₱3,200, far more than a ₱1,000 bonus. Our baccarat odds guide shows the edges.
Formula with contribution: actual turnover needed = required wagering ÷ contribution rate.
Max bet rules
Most bonus terms cap your bet size while a bonus is active, often a fixed amount per spin or round. Breaking the cap, even once, can void the bonus and any winnings. Casinos do this to stop players from making a few huge bets to either bust quickly or hit a big win. Note the cap before you play and set your stake comfortably below it.
Time limits
Bonuses usually expire if you don't complete wagering within a set number of days. Work out the daily turnover you'd need: ₱30,000 over 7 days is about ₱4,300 per day. If that's more than you'd normally play, the bonus will push you to gamble more than you intended, which is a good reason to decline it outright.
Max cashout caps
Some bonuses, especially no-deposit offers and free spins, limit how much you can withdraw from bonus winnings, for example to a fixed amount or a multiple of the bonus. A cap cuts off the big wins that make some bonuses worth trying, which lowers their real value. If there's a cap, the expected value is lower than the simple formula suggests.
Sticky vs cashable
A sticky bonus can be used for wagering but never withdrawn; it's removed when you cash out. A cashable bonus becomes withdrawable once wagering is complete. With sticky bonuses, only winnings above the bonus amount can be withdrawn, so their value is lower.
Order of funds: real money muna o bonus?
Some casinos use your real deposit first and only switch to bonus funds when it runs out; others lock your deposit with the bonus until wagering is complete. If your deposit is locked, you can't withdraw it without forfeiting the bonus. Check this before accepting: being able to walk away with your own money if you change your mind is valuable.
Sportsbook rollover
Sports bonuses and free bets have their own wagering rules:
- Minimum odds. Bets often must be at odds of at least a set level, such as 1.50 or higher, to count.
- Settled bets only. Cashed-out or void bets may not count.
- Multiples. Some offers require accumulators or count them differently.
The expected cost formula works the same: turnover × the book's margin on the markets you bet. On a typical two-way market with a 5 percent overround, the expected cost is roughly 2.5 percent of stake per bet. ₱10,000 of required rollover at that margin costs about ₱250 in expectation, but minimum odds rules push you towards higher-margin markets. Step by step: pagbasa ng isang term sheet
Imagine terms that read: "100% match up to ₱5,000. Wagering 30x (deposit + bonus) within 14 days. Slots 100%, table games 10%, live casino 0%. Max bet ₱250 while bonus active." You deposit ₱3,000 and receive ₱3,000.
- Base: deposit + bonus = ₱6,000.
- Required wagering: ₱6,000 × 30 = ₱180,000.
- Daily pace: ₱180,000 ÷ 14 ≈ ₱12,900 per day.
- Expected cost on 96 percent slots: ₱180,000 × 4% = ₱7,200.
- Expected value: ₱3,000 bonus − ₱7,200 ≈ −₱4,200.
- Spins needed at ₱50 each: 3,600 spins, a lot of play.
Conclusion: on average you'd lose your whole deposit and more chasing this bonus. Unless you were going to play that much anyway, decline it.
Free spins winnings at wagering
Free spins usually come with a wagering requirement on what they win. Say 50 free spins at ₱10 each on a 96 percent slot are expected to return about ₱480. If winnings carry 35x wagering, clearing ₱480 requires ₱16,800 of bets with an expected cost of about ₱670. The free spins' expected value turns negative. Free spins with no wagering on winnings are far more valuable than the same number of spins with heavy wagering.
Wagering at crypto price changes
On crypto casinos, wagering is usually counted in your account's display currency, often dollars. If you deposit Bitcoin and its price moves while you clear a bonus, the peso value of your balance changes too. Stablecoins like USDT avoid this. Price movement doesn't affect the casino's wagering count, but it affects what you actually take home.
Worked example: tatlong offers
| Offer | Terms | Turnover | Expected cost at 96% RTP | Expected value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | ₱2,000 bonus, 25x bonus | ₱50,000 | ₱2,000 | ≈ ₱0 |
| B | ₱1,000 bonus, 35x D+B on ₱1,000 deposit | ₱70,000 | ₱2,800 | ≈ −₱1,800 |
| C | ₱500 bonus, 10x bonus | ₱5,000 | ₱200 | ≈ +₱300 |
The smallest headline bonus, Offer C, is the best value. Offer B, which sounds standard, is expected to cost far more than it gives. This is why the multiplier and base matter more than the headline amount.
Variance: ang hindi sinasabi ng average
Expected value is an average across many players. Individually, you'll often bust before finishing wagering, especially on high-volatility slots, and occasionally finish well ahead. Lower-volatility games give a steadier path to completing wagering; high-volatility games make busting more likely but offer a small chance of a large balance. Neither changes the expected cost; they change the spread of outcomes. Our slot volatility guide explains the trade-off.
Paano i-track ang progress
Most casinos show wagering progress in your account. Keep your own note too: date, game, total bet and the casino's displayed progress. If the numbers don't match, for example because a game contributed less than you expected, you'll catch it early. Screenshots help if you need to contact support. Also note the bonus expiry date and the max bet in the same note, so all the rules you must follow are in one place while you play, rather than buried in a terms page you read once.
Paano naman ang rakeback at cash rewards?
Some crypto casinos and sportsbooks reward play differently: they return a percentage of the house edge on your bets as rakeback, or release cash rewards as you play. Rewards paid as real cash have no further wagering to clear, which can make them simpler to value than traditional match bonuses. Cloudbet's welcome package, for example, is described on its site as cash rewards released over time, alongside rakeback; read its current terms for the exact conditions, including any playthrough on deposits before withdrawal. Our rakeback guide shows how to calculate rakeback value.
Mga mito tungkol sa wagering
- "Kailangan kong matalo ng ₱30,000." No. You need to bet ₱30,000 in total. The expected loss is turnover times the house edge, a fraction of that.
- "May game na siguradong pang-clear ng bonus." No game beats the house edge over time. Some games just lose less per peso bet, and those are often excluded or reduced.
- "Kapag malapit na sa wagering, tataasan ko ang bet." Bigger bets don't change the expected cost per peso, and may break the max-bet rule.
- "Lahat ng bonus ay scam." Not all. Some low-wagering offers have positive expected value. The point is to calculate, not to assume.
- "Pwede kong i-withdraw ang deposit ko anytime." Only if the terms allow it. Many lock the deposit until wagering is done.
Paano ikumpara ang dalawang casino bonus nang mabilis
When two offers look similar, compute one number for each: bonus minus (turnover × house edge of the game you'll actually play, adjusted for contribution). The higher number wins. If both are negative, the best choice is neither; deposit without a bonus, or don't deposit at all.
Mga pulang bandila sa bonus terms
- Wagering of 40x or more, especially on deposit plus bonus.
- Very short time limits.
- Low max-bet caps combined with high wagering.
- Vague "bonus abuse" clauses that let the casino void winnings at its discretion.
- Terms that differ between the promotion page and the full terms.
- Max cashout limits on deposit bonuses.
Kailan tanggihan ang bonus
Declining is often the smart choice. Skip a bonus if the expected value is negative, if the daily turnover would push you beyond your normal play, if your deposit gets locked, or if you might want to withdraw soon. Playing with your own money and no strings means you can cash out whenever you like, which is worth more than most players realise.

Mga Madalas Itanong (FAQ)
Ano ang ibig sabihin ng 30x wagering?
You must place bets totalling 30 times the bonus (or deposit plus bonus, depending on the terms) before withdrawing bonus-related funds.
Paano malalaman kung sulit ang bonus?
Estimate the expected cost: turnover × house edge. If it's lower than the bonus amount, the bonus has positive expected value on average.
Bakit hindi nabibilang ang baccarat sa wagering?
Many casinos count table games at reduced rates or exclude them, because their low house edge makes bonuses too easy to clear.
Ano ang mangyayari kung lumampas ako sa max bet?
The casino may void the bonus and any winnings. Always check the cap.
Licensed ba ng PAGCOR ang Cloudbet?
No. Cloudbet is licensed in Curaçao and accepts Philippine players, but it is not PAGCOR-licensed.
